While I generally enjoy street food and road side cafés, this place was a nice change. The decor was tasteful, furniture was wooden – not your standard plastic garden chairs that seem to be all over Cambodia.
But most importantly, the food was great! My favorites were the starters: fried pork spring rolls, banana blossom salad with chicken, vegetables and fresh herbs and an amazingly fragrant pomelo salad with smoked fish, herbs and vegetables in a lightly spicy red dressing.
For mains, we had a Khmer Curry with Chicken and Fish Curry with Mango.
Not featured: The obligatory ice cream & fried banana we had for dessert.
The verdict: This place is definitely wort a visit when in Siem Reap, the food was delicious and it was a welcome change from street food and plastic chairs. I highly recommend booking ahead, the place was packed when we went.
